Sophie Okoeka

Sophie Okoeka is a second-year undergraduate student at UNC Charlotte majoring in Computer Science with a concentration in Information Technology and minoring in Chinese. Born in Texas, she grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, and comes from a rich multicultural background with Nigerian, Jamaican, and American roots. In her free time, Sophie loves traveling, spending time with her family, church community, and friends, and learning Mandarin and Korean through her favorite Asian dramas. She plans to pursue a graduate degree in Data Science and Business Analytics through the Early Entry Program. As a PA, she is excited to connect with diverse people from all over the world, learn about their unique cultures, and help introduce them to life in the US and the vibrant Charlotte community.
